about me

I have worked for years as an educator in the "sensitive neighborhoods" on the outskirts of Rome. My daily care has always been the social integration processes and community development projects in support of people who live in situations of vulnerability and exclusion.

I Have promoted their participation in spaces of relationship and communication with the territory and paths in achieving personal autonomy.
In these "urban areas" in close relation with resident,  I have always tried, not only to resolve issues at all cost, but to enter, in a concrete way, in their lives, learning to listen the most emotional, perhaps, of their stories, in an effort to understand their world view and how we can perceive it.

A very strong passion, photography, accompanied me along this path, and the intense desire to document allowed me to read and tell stories of men trying to catch their sensitivity, their expectations and dreams in an attempt to reflect the 'idea of the world that we built.
 

I was born in Sicily in the early sixties. I have lived, studied and worked in Rome since 1980 but my heart is still deeply tied to the South.
